Latest On AEW's Plans For December PPV

More on AEW's possible December PPV

An All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view in the week between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve looks to be on the horizon.

It was rumoured in recent weeks that AEW were discussing holding one more pay-per-view in 2023 after Full Gear, with Friday, December 29 under consideration within the promotion.

There has been no official announcement from All Elite Wrestling as of yet but Fightful Select has reported the December pay-per-view was still being discussed as of last week. It is unknown if the show will be from AEW or Ring of Honor, especially since ROH often holds Final Battle in December.

Rumours amongst the AEW roster, according to Fightful suggest the pay-per-view could take place on Friday, December 29 or Saturday, December 30. It is believed the show is planned for New York City, although a venue is unclear. AEW likely wouldn't be able to run Madison Square Garden due to WWE's house show at the arena on December 26, which would prevent AEW from advertising a pay-per-view at MSG until after that event due to WWE's arrangement with venues across the United States.

AEW have increased their pay-per-view schedule in 2023. Reports have suggested they will move to one pay-per-view per month and they will air on Max in 2024
