Latest On Matt & Jeff Hardy's WWE Contract Situation

indicates Jeff Hardy may be back in a WWE ring sooner rather than later.

Hardy was injured back in May at a live event while The Charismatic Enigma was one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions alongside his brother, Matt. Consequently, The Hardy Boyz were forced to relinquish their titles as Jeff underwent knee surgery that would keep him away for six to nine months.

The Inactive/Injured list retrieved by

shows that Jeff Hardy is due to return to action in November.

In turn, WWE has activated a clause in his contract to extend it by "at least" another year due to the time missed while injured.

Meanwhile, Matt has been conspicuous by his absence on WWE television. After an all-too-brief run as
