Ludwig Kaiser Injury Confirmed On WWE Raw

Ludwig Kaiser reveals extent of WWE Raw injury

Appearing in a video package on WWE Monday Night Raw, Ludwig Kaiser announced that he suffered broken ribs on last week's show. Kaiser blamed Sheamus for the injury, hinting their ongoing programme will only continue when Kaiser returns to the ring.

In reality, Kaiser sustained the broken ribs during his match with Bron Breakker after Breakker connected with a Jumping Clothesline to the floor that sent Kaiser crashing into the announce table. Kaiser immediately clutched his ribs following the move and he could be seen favouring one of his arms and his side during the match.

Sheamus ultimately interfered, hitting Kaiser with a Brogue Kick, to end the match by DQ. Bron Breakker then took out both Kaiser and Sheamus to end the segment standing tall.

According to reports, Kaiser was originally planned to be involved in the Money in the Bank qualifier alongside Sheamus and Drew McIntyre on July 1 but the injury ruled Kaiser out. Ilja Dragunov ultimately replaced Kaiser, with Drew McIntyre winning the match on Raw to earn the final spot in the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
