WWE Forced To Change Raw Plans Due To Ludwig Kaiser Injury

Ludwig Kaiser's injury leads to WWE Raw change

WWE were reportedly forced to make a change to their plans for Monday Night Raw following Ludwig Kaiser's injury.

Kaiser went one-on-one with Bron Breakker on the June 24 episode of Raw, sustaining an as-yet undisclosed injury on the show beyond that he was favouring one of his arms and his side following a Suplex. The match ended in a DQ after Sheamus came through the crowd and attacked Kaiser. Breakker then finished the segment standing tall after he fought off both Sheamus and Kaiser.

Following up on their initial report about Kaiser's injury, WrestleVotes noted the Imperium member was originally planned to be in the Money in the Bank qualifier against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre on next week's Raw. The injury caused those plans to be changed, though, and Ilja Dragunov has been added to the Triple Threat instead.

"Prior to the injury, Ludwig Kaiser was to compete in the MITB qualifier next week vs Sheamus & Drew McIntyre. As shown on RAW, Ilja Dragunov will now be in that spot," WrestleVotes tweeted.

If Kaiser will miss any time following the injury has yet to be revealed. The Imperium member has been featured on Raw as a singles talent since turning on Giovanni Vinci in April.
