Malakai Black Mentions CM Punk During AEW Collision Head-To-Head With WWE Survivor Series

CM Punk brought up on AEW Collision

Malakai Black was feeling cheeky during the live edition of AEW Collision that went head-to-head with WWE Survivor Series.

FTR picked up a win over Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous on the November 25 episode of AEW Collision but Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler didn't have long to celebrate as Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews made their way onto the entrance ramp.

Malakai Black then said if House of Black headed to the ring at that moment there would be no one to save FTR, "No Cesaro, no Yuta, and no CM Punk." The segment then came to an end with the lights going out and House of Black disappearing as Malakai laughed.

FTR teamed with CM Punk as CMFTR during the Second City Saviour's run in All Elite Wrestling. They even unsuccessfully challenged House of Black for the AEW World Trios Titles on the August 12 edition of Collision.

CM Punk was ultimately fired with cause by AEW in September 2023 following multiple incidents with Tony Khan and a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In. Speculation has fuelled about a CM Punk return at Survivor Series since then but reports have noted that Punk is not expected to appear at the pay-per-view

UPDATE: CM Punk returned to close out WWE Survivor Series.
