Matches Pitched For Eventual Jamie Hayter AEW Return

It is been over 14 months since Jamie Hayter last wrestled, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion having been sidelined with injury since May 2023.

Although Hayter was rumoured to be in-line for a return in ‘early 2024’, no such thing has materialised, and whilst a report from Fightful Select maintains there is no movement on a potential return date for Hayter, there is some encouraging news, with it revealed that some talents have been pitched matches with Hayter as part of a potential return programme.

The nature of Hayter’s injury has not been publicly disclosed, although Fightful’s report states it was a ‘serious one’. Hayter has been said to have been keeping to herself and focusing on recovering, having not been seen backstage at AEW tapings for some time, although Hayter was backstage at some point in the past few months to undergo a physical, with Hayter’s presence said to have been the most psoitive news regarding a return since she’s been sidelined.

Again, whilst there is no concrete timeframe for a return for the former champ, those Fightful have spoken to who are close to both AEW and Hayter are confident that a return is on the cards.
