WWE NXT Star Answers Jordynne Grace's Open Challenge On TNA IMPACT

The relationship between WWE and TNA Wrestling means you never know just who is going to show up and where, and after Joe Hendry’s surprise return to NXT, it was time for an NXT star to cross the line again, as seen on the July 11 edition of IMPACT.

TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace threw out an open challenge on the show, offering a shot at the gold there and then for anyone brave enough to step up. Eventually the challenge was answered by NXT’s Izzi Dame, but although the fiery rookie showed a lot of heart, Grace’s experience won out, with the champ hitting the Juggernaut Driver for the win.

The match was observed by Ash by Elegance’s personal concierge ahead of Ash’s own challenge for the title at Slammiversary on July 20, but Rosemary made sure no shenanigans occurred, chasing the concierge to the back.

Dame is the second NXT star to step up to Jordynne Grace after Tatum Paxley attempted to end Grace’s reign at Against All Odds on June 14. Should Grace overcome Ash by Elegenace at Slammiversary then the question remains; who will be next to enter the IMPACT zone for a shot at the champ?
