Matt Hardy Thinks Jeff Hardy Wants To Redeem Himself In AEW

Matt Hardy Believes That Jeff Hardy Will Want To Eventually Redeem Himself In AEW

It has been several months since Jeff Hardy last appeared on AEW programming following a very public arrest and suspension in 2022, which saw him enter rehab and receive a sentence in February 2023.

When it comes to his AEW future, things are still up in the air, though his brother, Matt Hardy, believes that Jeff has not yet had his last appearance in the company, and will at some point look to seek some sort of redemption following the last year of turmoil.

Speaking on the Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, he discussed Jeff’s current mindset and future in professional wrestling;

Now that I feel like Jeff is in a good space and feels good about where he's at in life. If he ends up coming back, I feel like there's still a lot of positive things we can really, really do to make great contributions to the industry.

"My gut thinks he wants to redeem himself. It's not going to be instantaneous. Once again, we haven't talked about stuff and he's taking care of some physical issues that he's been dealing with right now. So I don't think we've seen Jeff appear on AEW television for the last time. I think we'll see it again. In what capacity? I'm not sure of that right now. I can't speak, but I do think he wants to redeem himself. I think that's very important to him. He's looking for redemption."

Of course, this just comes from Matt’s gut feeling, but he is certainly one of the best people to listen to when it comes to his brother.
