Mercedes Moné Teases AEW Debut
AEW debut teased by Mercedes Moné
Mercedes Moné is expected in All Elite Wrestling imminently, with the upcoming Big Business special of Dynamite on March 13 widely expected to be Moné’s first night in the company.
Now, Moné herself has teased that Big Business will be her first night in the company, saying the following on Twitter/X in response to outgoing STARDOM main eventer and current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia:
“You standing on big business or u just standing around! YoU know where to find me Julia @giulia0221g,” posted Moné.
Giulia earlier revealed that she wanted to keep hold of the championship until she can finally face Moné for the belt, with Moné originally slated to reign as inaugural champion until a mid-match injury against Willow Nightingale in May 2023 saw ‘The Babe with the Power’ lift the title instead. All roads were eventually meant to lead to Moné dropping the belt to Giulia, but this never came to be.
If a Giulia vs. Moné match does indeed go down at Big Business or indeed in an AEW ring it will come as a surprise to many, especially after AEW President Tony Khan publicly mocked outgoing STARDOM head Rossy Ogawa after his firing in February.
