Mickie James Returns From Injury On WWE Raw

The six-time WWE Women's Champion is back...

After over a year away, Mickie James returned to WWE TV last night on Monday Night Raw. The company reintroduced the six-time women's champion to the audience at home with a backstage interview in which James said she planned to lead the Women's locker room.

She was quickly interrupted by Lana and Natalya, however, who told Mickie she can't be a locker room leader if she doesn't have a TikTok. The Queen Of Harts and The Ravishing Russian then continued to berate the returning star, which only angered James who ended the confrontation by telling Natalya she will see her in the ring next week.

Mickie had been out of action since June 2019 after she tore her ACL at a WWE house show and required reconstructive surgery. She was expected to be on the shelf for seven to nine months, which would have seen her return in the build-up to WrestleMania 36, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic put those plans on hold until the company decided to bring her back for last night's show.
