Minneapolis Submits Bid For WWE WrestleMania 41

Minneapolis has submitted an official bid to host WWE WrestleMania 41

Minneapolis has launched an official bid to host next year’s WWE WrestleMania 41 event, with the Minnesotan city looking to bring Mania to the US Bank Stadium.

The ‘City of Lakes’ has long been rumoured to be keen on hosting the event, with reports in April 2023 suggesting the city was a frontrunner. If successful in their bid, it’ll be the first WrestleMania event to ever be held in Minneapolis, and indeed the first for the state of Minnesota.

A report from the Star Tribune states the bid for Mania XLI has been submitted with the non-profit Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE) one of the main bodies hoping to bring WrestleMania to the area.

Hosting WrestleMania is a massive tourism and financial boon for whichever city submits the winning bid, with the upcoming two-night WrestleMania XL set for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Financial Field on April 6 and April 7.

The winning city is expected to find out if their bid was successful within the next month. There’s no word on if London have submitted an official bid to host Mania, with a UK edition of the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ championed by John Cena, and in the UK parliament.
