WWE Experimenting With PPV Start Times

WWE experimenting with PPVs

WWE could be making a permanent change to their pay-per-views/premium live events.

The company has begun pay-per-views at 8 pm ET/1 am GMT when the shows take place in North America for much of WWE's history. There was a brief change during the COVID-19 pandemic when pay-per-views would get underway at 7 pm ET/12 am GMT but the organisation reverted back to 8 pm ET/1 am GMT after WWE resumed touring in the Summer of 2021.

WWE could be introducing earlier start times again, though. WWE had already announced an earlier start for WrestleMania 40 and PWInsider have now reported that WWE is looking into potentially moving all North American pay-per-views to 7 pm ET/12 am GMT. No final decision has been made as of yet, however, and it is currently an experiment in progress

In addition to WrestleMania 40, Money in the Bank 2024 will begin at 7 pm ET/12 am GMT. Money in the Bank will be held in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, July 6. WrestleMania will take place on April 6 and April 7 in Philadelphia.
