More Details Around WWE 2K22's Process For Scanning Wrestlers Reportedly Emerge

The game is due for release in March 2022

More details about how 2K Sports have been working with WWE superstars in order to complete the new WWE 2K22 game have reportedly been revealed. 

According to Fightful Select, recently released WWE talent have opened up about their participation in creating the game, with one individual saying that they were asked to come in several times to do scans for the upcoming game.

It is indicated that the initial plan was for WWE 2K22 to include a signficant amount of NXT talent, highlighting the importance of the developmental brand to the promotion, but it not known at this time how many of the new NXT 2.0 stars will be included in the game. 

It is noted that 2K Sports do facial scanning for every WWE superstar and then will do a separate scan of the body if the individual talent has tattoos that the development team want to ensure are accurate. 

Furthermore, WWE talent are also shown videos of the motion capture process to ensure their moves look accurate.
