Motor City Machine Guns To Make SmackDown Debut Next Week

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, a vignette aired containing two silhouettes driving around a city, and it was revealed in reports that this was to hype up the main roster debut of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns, who, contrary to previous reports that they were headed to NXT, are on their way straight to SmackDown. 

Another vignette aired this week, featuring the letters ‘MCMG’ spray-painted, and a tease for ‘next week’, implying that the October 18 Friday Night SmackDown event at the Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina will be the night that they make their debut. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was also shown telling the tag team division that a new duo would be coming next week. Their opponents may have been revealed too, as Aldis scheduled Los Garza for a match against a ‘special team’ after they were complaining about not getting opportunities. 

Fightful Select have noted in a report that internally their travel has been planned for the October 25 SmackDown in Brooklyn, even though the tease is for next week’s show.
