Natalya To Challenge For NWA Women's World Championship

It has been a busy time for long-time WWE women’s division veteran Natalya in recent weeks, only not in her home of WWE. After it was revealed last month that former WWE Women’s Champion Natalya would be competing at NWA’s Crockett Cup, she was also announced for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport over WrestleMania 41 weekend. 

It was reported that those backstage in WWE were very impressed with Natalya’s performance, where she picked up a victory over Miyu Yamashita in her Bloodsport debut. Following her Bloodsport win, Natalya brawled ringside with NWA World Women’s Champion Kenzie Page, setting up their match for the Crockett Cup event. It has since been revealed that the NWA Women’s World Championship will be officially on their line when they do battle next month. 

Natalya vs. Page will take place on Saturday, May 17 in Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena, but will air on future episodes of NWA Power. Kenzie Page has held the gold for over 600 days, defeating former champion Kamille way back in 2023. WWE haven’t been opposed to their talents winning titles outside the promotion, with Omos recently reigning as a Tag Team Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
