New Matches Set For WWE NXT Vengeance Day

Plenty of matches set for WWE NXT Vengeance Day

WWE NXT will hold their Vengeance Day premium live event on Sunday, February 4 and more matches have been set for the show. 

It was announced on Tuesday night's edition of NXT that Dijak will go one-on-one with Joe Gacy in a No Disqualification Match at Vengeance Day. The two talents were involved in a brawl on NXT and Gacy accepted the challenge after being thrown into a dumpster. 

The final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic was also made official for Vengeance Day after Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes defeated Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of the LWO in their semi-final match. Williams and Hayes will face off with Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin in the final.

Trick Williams will have to pull double-duty at the event as he is scheduled to challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship in the main event. Williams looks set to have a bright future in WWE and has been internally tipped as a possible future WrestleMania main eventer

  • Oba Femi (c) vs. Dragon Lee - NXT Women's Championship 
  • Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez - NXT Women's Championship
  • Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams - Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final
  • Dijak vs. Joe Gacy - No DQ Match
  • The Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, & Adriana Rizzo) vs. OTM (Lucien Price, Bronco Nima, & Jaida Parker)
