Nick Aldis Added To IMPACT Slammiversary

Nick Aldis back in IMPACT Wrestling for Slammiversary

Nick Aldis will return to IMPACT Wrestling at the promotion's upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view on Sunday, June 19.

The show, taking place on the 20-year-anniversary of TNA's first weekly pay-per-view, will see Honor No More's Eddie Edwards, Vincent, PCO, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven take on a group of IMPACT originals.

Frankie Kazarian, Alex Shelley, and Chris Sabin were initially announced for the match but the trio had to find two members to join them. It was then announced on Thursday's edition of IMPACT Wrestling that Aldis would be fighting as an IMPACT original at Slammiversary. Who the final IMPACT original will be remains to be seen.

The National Treasure previously performed for IMPACT across two runs as Magnus, first from 2009 until 2015 before a brief return in 2017 following the IMPACT-Global Force Wrestling merger. He is a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.

Aldis briefly returned to IMPACT earlier this year for the promotion's Multiverse Of Matches event over WrestleMania weekend. He teamed with wife Mickie James to defeat Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green.
