The WWE 24/7 Championship was seemingly scrapped this week after Nikki Cross tried to put the title in a trash can on Monday's episode of Raw from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Cross was shown backstage with Damage CTRL on the show when she walked past a rubbish bin and looked to dispose of the belt. She accidentally missed, but she just carried on walking despite the belt hitting the floor.

Cross has now addressed her actions following Raw, tweeting: "Il do whatever I want with it. Dump it on the Floor, inside the trash, outside in a dump, an incinerator.....bury the thing in a graveyard. Please, by all means, try and argue with me, try to stop me. I welcome it please. Hehehehehehehe honestly I won't bite."

If the 24/7 Title will make another appearance on WWE TV ultimately remains to be seen. The championship was established in May 2019, with Titus O'Neil becoming the inaugural champion. R-Truth had the most 24/7 Title reigns, holding the belt 54 times.
