NJPW's New Japan Cup 2020 Day 3 Results

Another shocking result...

Last week, New Japan Pro-Wrestling hosted the first eight matches of the 2020 New Japan Cup. While most of the matches went as fans expected, Yuji Nagata shocked everyone as he defeated Minoru Suzuki with a Belly To Back Suplex. 

The right bracket of the tournament kicked off earlier today and many looked forward to the show as Hiroshi Tanahashi was in action against Taichi, Zack Sabre Jr. and Kota Ibushi went one on one, Shingo Takagi clashed with SHO, and The Funky Weapon Ryusuke Taguchi faced off against SANADA. 

Today's action produced another shocking result as SHO managed to defeat Shingo Takagi with the Shock Arrow. He will now face SANADA in the second round.

• Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Taiji Ishimori - June 24
• SANADA vs. SHO - July 1
• Kota Ibushi vs. Taichi - July 1
