NWA Corrects Statement Announcing Reality Show Airing On The CW Network

NWA have had to correct a statement regarding their reality show

Last year it was revealed that the NWA had struck up a deal with the CW Network for both their NWA Powerrr show and a prospective reality show apparently centred around Billy Corgan, though after an incident involving Father James Mitchell and some of his associates simulating drug use at their Samhain PPV, the deal with CW was put under threat. Episodes of Powerrr were instead uploaded to the CW’s App rather than live on the network.

NWA commentator Joe Galli was recently interviewed on Knockouts and 3 Counts, and he revealed that an NWA reality show would be airing on the CW Network. However, this was not the case, and NWA has to issue a correct statement, adding yet another awkward issue within their relationship with the CW Network.

On X, NWA issued the following;

“In a recent interview, NWA lead announcer Joe Galli misspoke in stating that the NWA’s as-yet unnamed and unscripted show would air on The CW Network’s broadcast channel. Rather, the same unscripted effort will soon premiere on the CW’s streaming platform, which notably will also exclusively host future episodes of NWA Powerrr starting February 6.”
