At the weekend, the National Wrestling Alliance invaded Ring Of Honor. After the rematch between Rush and PCO for the ROH World Championship ended in a disqualification, both Villain Enterprises and La Faccion Ingobernable battled around the ringside area.

However, once Flip Gordon was the last man standing in the ring, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis stormed through the crowd and beat him down. After throwing Flip into the ring post, Aldis tore open his shirt to reveal an NWA t-shirt underneath.

Yesterday, the NWA announced

Aldis and Flip will go one on one at the Hard Times pay-per-view. The match is being billed as an inter-promotional contest between NWA and ROH, and the Worlds Heavyweight title will not be on the line.

This adds fuel to the fire that both promotions have agreed to some sort of working relationship. At Into The Fire, Marty Scurll returned to NWA and interrupted Aldis after his main event match. Since then, the Leader of Villain Enterprises has signed a new contract with ROH and was confirmed as Joint-Head Booker. As part of his new deal, Scurll is free to work for other promotions.

Hard Times will be broadcast live from GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on January 24. You can order the pay-per-view on

FITE TV.
