Nzo Thinks He & W. Morrissey Could Have Sold Out Madison Square Garden For ROH

Selling out MSG? You can't teach that.

Nzo believes that he and former tag partner W. Morrissey could have helped save Ring of Honor when they briefly worked with the company back in April 2019.

The pair were involved in a controversial angle where they 'invaded' the joint ROH/New Japan G1 Supercard show in Madison Square Garden, however no match resulted from it.

Appearing on the DDP Snake Pit podcast, Nzo feels ROH could've sold out The World's Most Famous Arena if they had booked him and Morrissey on a card there:

"Ring of Honor did not follow up that match with me and Cass. You could've sold out Madison Square Garden with Enzo and Cass, G.O.D., and the Briscoes in a tag team title match. You could've, you would've sold out the Garden again — and now Ring of Honor sold out to Tony Khan. The company would still maybe be alive if they booked that match. But then again, that's on them."

Nzo has wrestled one previous match at MSG (as Enzo Amore), successfully defending the WWE Cruiserweight Title against Kalisto in the opener of WWE's Boxing Day 2017 live event.

Morrissey, on the other hand, has never wrestled at The Garden.
