December is an eventful month for Jon Moxley.
Not only is it the Blackpool Combat Club member's birthday on December 7 but his first AEW World Title reign came to an end in December 2020 at Winter is Coming in one of the most shocking angles of the year.
Moxley's reign began at Revolution 2020, only a couple of weeks before the world went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moxley then carried the promotion through the difficult months while dealing with his own demons at the time.
Moxley has since held the AEW World Title two more times since his initial reign came to an end after 277 days.
