All Elite Wrestling are unconcerned about their ratings loss to WWE NXT on Wednesday, November 6 and Tony Khan's promotion are more focused on ensuring Warner Bros. Discovery are happy following their new TV deal, according to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp.

After being asked on a Fightful Select Q&A about the internal AEW reaction to the ratings loss, Sean Ross Sapp stated:

"I wish I could convey how much they don't give a sh*t. Sometimes I'll see like in WWE some media members will have like, 'Oh here's the comparable numbers' and all that stuff, and obviously the fast nationals and all that. So there's much more care on the WWE side of things, but AEW got their TV deal. They're more worried about satisfying WBD than they are beating WWE."

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT went head to head on Wednesday, November 6 due to NXT being preempted because of coverage of the US presidential election on Tuesday, November 5. NXT aired a special ECW-themed episode which averaged 619,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating on The CW. AEW Dynamite on TBS, meanwhile, averaged 523,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating.

AEW secured a new TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that takes effect from January 2025 and remains in place through December 2027. The deal is worth $555 million over three years.
