Feb 4, 2025
An absent talent from All Elite Wrestling seemingly won't be back on TV any time in the near future.
According to PWInsider, the word making the rounds amongst AEW talents is Tommy Billington sustained a separated shoulder while wrestling on the Chris Jericho Cruise. It is unknown how long Billington will be out of action.
Billington wrestled twice on the cruise, first losing to Konosuke Takeshita on January 31 before he defeated Elijah (FKA Elias) in the Jericho Cruise Oceanic Title number one contender's tournament on February 1.
Tommy Billington made his AEW debut in May 2024, signing with the promotion a couple of months later after Billington turned down interest from WWE.
Billington has not appeared on AEW TV since the All In Zero Hour in August 2024, but he did work for Ring of Honor in December, including in a loss to Katsuyori Shibata.
Elsewhere at the Chris Jericho Cruise, Curry Man announced his retirement from pro wrestling after a 26-year career. The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion ended his career with a win over The Masked Brother.
