Report: Backstage News On Sarray's WWE Exit
What led to the exit of the NXT star?
A new report has shed some light on the exit of WWE NXT star Sarray.
After it was reported by Tokyo Sports on Tuesday that Sarray would be leaving the company when her contract expires, Fightful Select have provided an update on what led to her decision to resume her career in Japan.
Fightful noted that the beginning of the end for Sarray came in early 2022, when several of her backstage supporters were let go. The most prominent of those was William Regal, with his departure viewed as a 'turning point'.
It added that those who frequent the WWE Performance Center hadn't seen her around in 'ages' and were not given answers when they asked about her whereabouts. It was also widely accepted that Sarray's creative direction on the third brand was bad.
While there was a slight language barrier, there were no issues dealing with Sarray and people within the PC only had good things to say about her.
It was said that Sarray took a lot of pride in helping Tiffan Stratton along during their short programme together.
WWE have yet to officially confirm that Sarray is leaving, but Fightful were told that her work with them is 'effectively done'.
