Report: CM Punk's Current Plans For WWE WrestleMania 41 Revealed

CM Punk is currently set for a big match at WWE WrestleMania 41

The original plans for WWE WrestleMania 40 this year showed the card looking very different, as CM Punk was originally scheduled to go one-on-one with Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, following an injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble, Punk was taken off the WrestleMania card.

Instead, Rollins went on to compete on both nights of WrestleMania, firstly teaming with Cody Rhodes to battle The Rock & Roman Reigns, and secondly defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. When it comes to the planned match between Punk & Rollins, it was reported recently that any plans for this match were being delayed until 2025, and a new tease from WRKD Wrestling on X has suggested the possible date for their showdown.

Showing a picture of Rollins & Punk facing off just following Punk’s return to WWE, the caption was simply “WrestleMania 41”, indicating when this match will indeed take place. At SummerSlam this year, Rollins was the Special Guest Referee in a match between Punk & McIntyre, but Rollins was on the receiving end of a GTS due to stealing Punk’s bracelet, adding more stoke to the fire when it comes to their feud. Before anything further could develop in their rivalry, Rollins was taken out and written off TV following an attack by Bronson Reed.
