Report: Cody Rhodes Not Planning To Go Part-Time Despite Hollywood Interest

Cody Rhodes could find himself in a future Legend of Zelda movie

Cody Rhodes might soon have adrenaline in his soul on the big screen as reports revealed over the weekend that the WWE star had meetings in Hollywood about potential film and TV roles

Rhodes has been linked with playing Johnny Cage in a future Mortal Kombat movie, a role The Miz has also pushed for, and a discussion was held about Cody potentially being involved in an upcoming Legend of Zelda film that appears likely to be made following the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Rhodes is a self-confessed fan of Zelda and even referenced the legendary Master Sword during the build to his Undisputed WWE Universal Title match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

While Rhodes might secure an acting gig, he wouldn't let any role affect his WWE schedule. According to Fightful Select, Cody doesn't plan to become a part-time wrestler and any projects he does would be around his WWE dates.

Rhodes has done acting in the past, notably as "Stardust" Derek Sampson in CW's Arrow. Cody is good friends with Stephen Amell, who played the star of the show, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
