Report: Details From Latest WWE Talent Meeting

Another talent meeting was held ahead of WWE RAW on January 16

Amidst conflicting reports of an imminent WWE takeover, and a general sense of uncertainty following Vince McMahon’s shock return to the company, WWE held another talent meeting ahead of the January 16 edition of RAW.

Following on from a similar meeting held before the January 13 SmackDown, Triple H, Kevin Dunn, and Executive Vice President of Talent for WWE Dan Ventrelle. Per a report from Fightful Select, the content of the meeting was largely the same as it was before SmackDown, with WWE allaying any fears about the creative side of the company, maintaining that he is still Chief Content Officer and firmly in charge of creative.

It’s also being reported by Fightful that the meeting addressed last week’s rumours that WWE had already been bought out by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, with management once again debunking the story.

Since Vince McMahon’s re-election as Chairman of the WWE Board, and Stephanie McMahon’s resignation as WWE Co-CEO it has been reiterated multiple times that McMahon is only back to facilitate a sale of WWE, although reports have put forward that he could possibly make suggestions about creative.
