Report: Doubt Over CM Punk For AEW All Out

Seemingly no CM Punk at AEW All Out

All Elite Wrestling's next pay-per-view All Out will emanate from CM Punk's hometown of Chicago, Illinois on September 4 but it does not appear that Punk will be on the card.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported Punk was still "hurting pretty bad" as of two weeks ago and his AEW World Title unification match with Jon Moxley will "probably" take place at Full Gear instead.

"I know Punk was hurting pretty bad as of two weeks ago. I don't know if he's going to be ready for the pay-per-view, so it will probably end up being the November show [Full Gear]," Meltzer said.

Punk has been out of action since June after breaking his foot, suffering the injury only days after he defeated Hangman Page to win the AEW World Championship. Punk noted at San Diego Comic-Con recently that his foot had yet to fully heal but was still healing.

If Punk is unavailable, it is unclear who Jon Moxley will face at All Out. The Interim AEW World Champion will next defend his title at Quake By The Lake against Chris Jericho.
