Whilst still seen by many as one of the best wrestlers in the world, Bryan Danielson has been making headlines recently due to his growing presence on AEW’s creative team.
Danielson is said to have been one of the brains behind the recent ‘Championship Friday’ edition of Rampage, with both Danielson and Khan attesting to how the pair think similarly in terms of booking style. A report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that Danielson’s importance in creative has grown, and is someone who ‘adds good input into any booking conversation’.
The report continues, stating that Danielson pushes Khan to ‘think harder’ when booking, with Meltzer suggesting that Danielson acts in a way that possibly ‘adds more enthusiasm’ to Khan.
Recent reports have suggested that Danielson will be on hand to add to creative for AEW’s upcoming Collision Saturday night show, a stark contrast to comments from 2021 where ‘The American Dragon’ claimed he had no interest in working on the creative side of wrestling.
