Report: Huge Buzz In IMPACT Over Taped X-Division Championship Match

There is reportedly a lot of buzz and hype backstage at IMPACT Wrestling over an X-Division match that was put together in the most recent set of television tapings. 

Fightful Select is reporting that a contest for the X-Division Championship was filmed last weekend which ended up going for an hour, with those who were in attendance and watching said to be very impressed by what they saw. 

There is no word on the participants in the match but a safe bet on one of the wrestlers would be Josh Alexander, who is the current X-Division Champion in IMPACT.

The timings included in Fightful's report would tie in with a tweet by IMPACT Wrestling ring announcer David Pezner, who took to social media last week to reveal his excitement at a recently taped match that he couldn't wait for the audience to watch. 

He wrote, in a post that went out last Wednesday: "So this weekend I saw one of, if not the, greatest pro wrestling match in my 44 years of watching wrestling. Can't wait for you to see it soon!"
