Report: Hulk Hogan Believes He Was Booed At WWE Raw Netflix Premiere Because Of Politics
Hulk Hogan reacts to being booed out of the building at WWE Raw Netflix premiere

Hulk Hogan reportedly believes that politics in the United States may have led to him being booed out of the building during Monday Night Raw's premiere on Netflix.
Hogan appeared in person on WWE programming for the first time in two years on January 6, making his entrance inside Los Angeles' Intuit Dome alongside a US flag-waving Jimmy Hart. Hogan was immediately booed upon entering the arena and the boos only grew louder as Hogan cut a promo about how the fans had always stood by his side. The boos for Hogan only continued as the WWE Hall of Famer talked about teaming with Randy Savage and Andre the Giant and some more boos were aimed at Hogan when he claimed Netflix was the greatest tag team partner of all time. Hogan's Real American Beer was also booed and the boos were still there at the end of the segment when Hogan ripped his shirt to reveal a WWE-Netflix t-shirt.
According to Sportskeeda's Dr. Chris Featherstone, Hogan admitted the boos may have been due to politics, with a statement made being that "he stood for what they didn't stand for." Hogan also allegedly wasn't shocked by the reaction as he "thought it was going to be 50/50" in Los Angeles.
Hogan has been a major supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and Hogan was featured prominently during Trump's campaign for the US presidential election. Hogan even wore a 'MAGA Powers' t-shirt ahead of his appearance on Monday Night Raw.
Hogan's claim that he may have been booed because of politics doesn't hold up to scrutiny, however. The Undertaker endorsed Donald Trump for president and even had Trump on his podcast ahead of the presidential election, yet he was loudly cheered during his cameo on the Raw Netflix premiere.
There have been several instances of Hogan being booed by WWE fans since he was brought back into the company in 2018, including at 2021's WrestleMania 37 when he hosted the show.
Hogan has ultimately been a controversial figure since 2015 when it was leaked that he used the N-word to describe his daughter Brooke's then-boyfriend. Hogan made a racist remark about Vice President Kamala Harris as recently as 2024 and his Real American Beer tours have led to Hogan being pictured with neo-Nazis on two occasions.
