Report: Latest On The Good Brothers' IMPACT Wrestling Status

The Good Brothers' IMPACT deals reportedly expired in July

Throughout the summer, speculation has been rife about The Good Brothers’ future after it emerged that the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions contracts have expired.

An update from Fightful Select suggests that whilst their two-year deals expired in late July, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows have agreed extensions after it was earlier reported that the two would be working through August at the very least.

The report states that The GBs will work with IMPACT through the August 26 and 27 round of tapings in Dallas, Texas, after which they will be heading to New Japan Pro-Wrestling for a few weeks. From September onwards it seems Gallows and Anderson will be free agents, but as of yet there is no word on where they could end up. Previous reports had suggested that The GBs were tied to NJPW through Wrestle Kingdom in January and Karl Anderson will defend his NEVER Openweight Title against Hiroshi Tanahashi on September 25.

The pair have held tag gold in NJPW, WWE, and IMPACT Wrestling, and frequently appeared on AEW TV as part of the Super Elite during Kenny Omega’s ‘belt collector’ AEW World Championship run in 2021 due to a working relationship between AEW and IMPACT Wrestling.
