Report: Marty Scurll Won't Be Appearing On Any NJPW Programming

He reportedly took part in a post-match angle with Rocky Romero at recent NJPW Strong tapings

New Japan Pro-Wrestling was placed under scrutiny recently after reports noted Marty Scurll had been in attendance at the most recent NJPW Strong tapings on January 22, 2021, and took part in a "post-match angle" with Rocky Romero.

The post-match angle seemingly won't be broadcast, though, as the Super J-Cast podcast recently reported that Scurll won't be appearing on any NJPW programming "for the foreseeable future."

They tweeted: "Per sources, Marty Scurll will not be appearing on NJPW Strong or any other New Japan programs for the foreseeable future."

Scurll was recently a member of the Ring Of Honor roster but he and the company parted ways after he was implicated in the Speaking Out movement.

A female accused Scurll of sexually assaulting her in January 2015 following an IPW: UK after-show party. The accuser was 16-years-old at the time of the alleged incident while Scurll was 26.

Scurll then addressed the allegations in two statements and claimed he and the accuser had a "brief consensual sexual encounter" but that he "did not become aware of her age until after the encounter."
