Marty Scurll & ROH Part Ways

They will go their separate ways...

Ring Of Honor recently announced they and Marty Scurll have mutually agreed to part ways.

ROH issued the following statement: "Marty Scurll and Ring Of Honor have mutually decided to part ways."

Scurll had been on hiatus from the company since June after sexual assault allegations were levied against him during the Speaking Out Movement.

A female accused Scurll of sexually assaulting her in January 2015 following an IPW: UK after-show party. She was 16 at the time of the alleged incident - Scurll was 26.

The former ROH joint-head booker later issued two statements addressing the allegations and claimed they had a "brief consensual sexual encounter," but that he "did not become aware of her age until after the encounter." Scurll's accuser disputed that he did not know how old she was.

Following the allegations, ROH launched an internal investigation into the matter and he was pulled from the promotion's roster page in September. Reports at the time noted the company had no plans to use him moving forward.
