During a recent interview, Fit Finlay revealed his son David is considering his future in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and they plan to look at his options when he returns to the United States.

Fit said: "He's a little bit confused at the minute as what to do next, you know? Is he going to stay in Japan, does he want to try here, like WWE or whatever. But him and I are gonna sit down when he does eventually come home and try and figure it out but he just needs a little bit of wisdom put in his head. Not that I have any."

Finlay isn't the only NJPW wrestler considering their options, though. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a lot of unhappiness amongst NJPW talent right now, particularly the foreign contingent, about the quarantine situation and the company keeping them in the dark following the COVID-19 outbreak.

There is also unrest because much of the foreign talent flew home after the Wrestle Grand Slam shows were postponed, only to discover NJPW would be resuming events on May 22.

As a result, there are wrestlers who don't plan to return to Japan until after quarantine upon arrival is lifted and others are considering their options.
