Moose's future with IMPACT Wrestling was put in doubt recently after the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion confirmed his contract expired in June.

Moose looks to be sticking around in IMPACT, though. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer reported that Moose is either close to re-signing or has already re-signed with the Anthem promotion.

The former NFL player joined IMPACT back in 2016 and he has established himself as one of the company's top stars over the last five years. He is a former two-time Grand Champion and has main evented a number of IMPACT events.

Moose's IMPACT run reached another level in May last year, though, after he reintroduced the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and declared himself the champion. He successfully defended the title against the likes of Trey Miguel, Tommy Dreamer and Jake Something and the championship was eventually made official in February 2021 ahead of his title vs. title match with IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann.

Moose ultimately came up short in that match, but he will have another chance to capture the IMPACT World Title when he faces Kenny Omega on June 12 at Against All Odds.
