The Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory featured numerous memorable moments as Shawn Daivari, James Storm and Swoggle all returned to IMPACT Wrestling. Rhino also picked up the win by defeating Sami Callihan, saving his job and earning his tag team partner Heath an IMPACT contract.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Rhino wasn't originally booked to win the gauntlet. Heath was supposed to walk away with the victory by defeating Callihan, but his injury meant the ending had to be changed on the fly. The promotion called an audible during the bout and Rhino was booked to go over so Heath still secured a contract.

The exact nature of Heath's injury was initially unknown, but Johnson later noted it is believed that the former WWE Superstar suffered a hernia. He was hospitalised following the pay-per-view. How long he will be on the shelf for is currently unclear.

As a result of the injury, IMPACT's creative team were up until the early hours of Sunday morning rewriting plans for the weekend's TV tapings.
