Roman Reigns is sticking with WWE

Roman Reigns won't be leaving WWE anytime soon.
Speculation about the WWE Universal Champion's future with Vince McMahon's company swirled following a house show in Trenton, New Jersey, over the weekend after Reigns said in a promo that he might not be back in the state due to 'starting a new phase' in his life.
While some speculated Reigns could be departing WWE and heading to Hollywood, The Tribal Chief has actually signed a new deal with WWE, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Reigns' 'new phase' is that his new deal allows him to work far fewer dates and he will be in action on fewer house shows.
"He got a new deal and the new deal is for far less dates. I don't know how many house shows he's going to be doing but it's going to be much less than the number he's doing now. It's one of the perks of being there for a while and being valuable there is you can call certain shots and he's got the power to maintain the championship and work fewer dates like Lesnar had and Hulk Hogan used to have," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.
At 36-years-old, Reigns is the undisputed top star in WWE and working fewer dates will ultimately allow him to spend more time at home with his five children as well as pursue other projects.
