Sasha Banks hasn't competed inside a WWE ring since the January 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, when she teamed with Bayley in a Triple Threat Tag Team match against Dana Brooke & Lacey Evans and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. The Legit Boss was scheduled to be in the Women's Royal Rumble match but she wasn't medically cleared to compete and was replaced by Kelly Kelly.

This was ultimately because Banks has been suffering from an ankle injury for a number of weeks, but

Mike Johnson at PWInsider

has reported Banks is no longer injured and will return to SmackDown on tonight's episode.

Johnson penned: "Sasha Banks, who has been out injured with what is believed to have been an ankle issue, is scheduled to be at tomorrow's Smackdown taping, the first time she's been back on the road for the company in several weeks."

It is not currently known what Banks will be up to on tonight's episode, but her best friend Bayley is currently pencilled in for a match at Super ShowDown against either Carmella or Naomi, so it's expected she will pick up where she left off and go straight back to helping the SmackDown Women's Champion.
