All Elite Wrestling appears to be in turmoil right now following a backstage fight between The Elite and CM Punk after Sunday's All Out pay-per-view that left Nick Jackson with a black eye after he was hit by a chair from Ace Steel. Kenny Omega was also allegedly bitten by the AEW producer, while CM Punk was said to have sparked the fight after he threw punches at The Young Bucks.

The altercation came about after the new AEW World Champion accused the AEW EVPs of spreading lies and took shots at Hangman Page and Colt Cabana during his post-All Out press conference.

Punk's comments came only minutes after the All Out pay-per-view came to an end with a major moment as MJF made his return to the promotion and revealed he was the masked man who won the Casino Ladder Match earlier in the night, making him the number one contender for the AEW World Title.

What should have been a major moment has very much been overshadowed by Punk's comments and the backstage fight and as a result, there are some within AEW who have sympathy for MJF, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Sympathy for MJF hasn't extended to fans, though, as many believe this to be a measure of karma after Friedman's actions over Double Or Nothing weekend overshadowed Wardlow's win against him.

MJF does have the opportunity to divert attention back to his return on Wednesday and he will speak on this week's episode of Dynamite.
