Report: Tommy Dreamer Returned To IMPACT Wrestling At Recent Tapings

Dreamer is back working in creative

Tommy Dreamer has reportedly returned to IMPACT Wrestling.

Fightful Select noted The Innovator Of Violence returned at a recent set of IMPACT TV tapings and worked as a backstage agent and producer. He was not used on-screen, however.

Dreamer was previously suspended by IMPACT back in September following comments he made during the 'Plane Ride From Hell' episode of Dark Side Of The Ring, comments which the promotion called "completely unacceptable."

Among other events, the Dark Side Of The Ring episode focused on accusations of sexual misconduct against Ric Flair from flight attendant Heidi Doyle, who alleged that Flair imposed himself on her and forced her to touch his genitals.

Dreamer disputed Doyle's allegations, though, saying in part: "Ric Flair's not going to try to impose by force any sexual stuff onto anybody. He's just flaunting, styling and profiling, doing the Ric Flair stuff where everybody's going to laugh about it. But obviously, someone took offence to it."

The ECW original also questioned why Doyle chose to settle with WWE and Ric Flair instead of pursuing the matter to the fullest extent of the law.

Fightful noted Dreamer initially had heat following the comments but individuals within IMPACT believe the punishment he received was appropriate.

Dreamer was suspended for the duration of one TV taping.
