WrestleMania 37 is still five months away and is currently scheduled to take place on March 28, 2021 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

WWE is already thinking about the main event direction for The Showcase Of The Immortals and previous reports have noted the company planned to have Edge vs. Randy Orton in an I Quit match close out the show. At one point, WWE even considered having the match be for the WWE Championship, but the company is reportedly having second thoughts.

Drew McIntyre currently holds the WWE Title and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has also discussed having The Scottish Psychopath hold the belt until 'Mania. He would then resume his feud with Brock Lesnar in a rematch from WrestleMania 36. Meltzer did note, however, that WWE isn't close to making a final decision on the main event of The Show Of Shows.

If Brock Lesnar will be back in the company by March 2021 is also up in the air. The Beast Incarnate's contract expired back in April and both sides have reportedly reached an impasse over a new deal.
