Report: Update On Likelihood Of Drew McIntyre Re-Signing With WWE

The latest on Drew McIntyre's WWE future below!

Amid speculation and rumours about his WWE future, Drew McIntyre may not be going anywhere when his contract expires in 2024.

Becky Lynch's deal is slated to expire in June 2024, while McIntyre's WWE contract is scheduled to run out in early 2024, although WWE could add injury time to the deal to keep him under contract for a little while longer.

Speaking about Lynch and McIntyre's potential futures in pro wrestling, WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport they expect both talents to ultimately remain with WWE.

"I expect when the dust settles both of them to stay. The WWE wants them to stay you know, 1,000% back to the end - let's say a percentage lower. They love them both. But, as any top-flight stars, they should see what else is out there. I don't believe WWE is worried about that," WrestleVotes stated.

Becky Lynch has been with WWE since 2013 and she is a six-time women's champion and one-time women's tag team champion. Drew McIntyre is currently in his second run with WWE, having returned to the company in 2017. He is a two-time WWE Champion.

Reports over the past couple of months have noted that McIntyre and WWE are far apart on money when it comes to a contract extension. There has also been mutual frustration due to alleged "miscommunications."
