Report: Update On Vince McMahon's Return To WWE HQ

While he had been away from Titan Towers since his return earlier this month, Vince McMahon returned to WWE HQ earlier this week, being spotted for the first time at the building in Stamford, Connecticut. If Vince McMahon will be backstage at the Royal Rumble is currently unknown, though.

The 77-year-old was known as a workaholic during his reign as CEO and Chairman but that is no longer the case, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. As McMahon is back with WWE to pursue a sale of the company, this leaves him with reduced duties compared to his previous run at the top and he is now leaving work at a normal time. 

While reports have noted that McMahon has been making suggestions on WWE creative, he has not attended any TV tapings since his return, nor has he been in attendance for any creative meetings, which would often take up a substantial part of his working day. 

McMahon returned to WWE on January 5 by electing himself and former co-presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson to the Board of Directors. Vince has since been elected as Executive Chairman by a restructured board.
