Report: When FTR Re-Signed With AEW Revealed

When FTR re-signed with AEW has been revealed

After months of Dax Harwood claiming that FTR might leave AEW when their deals were set to expire in April 2023, the Top Guys are staying with All Elite Wrestling.

FTR defeated The Gunns for the AEW World Tag Team Championships in a Title vs. Career Match on the April 5 edition of Dynamite and Harwood and Cash Wheeler revealed on last week's Rampage they have signed four-year deals to keep them with All Elite Wrestling. At the end of those contracts, FTR will retire.

It was noted earlier in 2023 that the whole FTR possibly leaving AEW situation was just an angle and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that was the case, reporting that FTR signed new deals with the promotion "months ago."

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been one of the top tag teams in AEW since they debuted in the company in May 2020. Their current run with the belts is their second reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions. They enjoyed a considerable amount of success in 2022, holding the AAA, ROH, and IWGP tag team titles.
