Another former WWE NXT talent appears to be AEW bound.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief within WWE NXT is that Malcolm Bivens (Stokely Hathaway) didn't re-sign with WWE because he wanted to join All Elite Wrestling. It is also believed Hathaway will sign with Tony Khan's promotion when his 30-day non-compete clause expires.

Bivens had been with WWE since signing with the company in 2019. He managed several talents, including Indus Sher, Babatunde, and Tyler Rust before he founded Diamond Mine in June 2021.

He was with the stable that featured The Creed Brothers, Roderick Strong, Ivy Nile, and previously Hideki Suzuki and the aforementioned Rust until Bivens was released a couple of weeks ago.

Bivens was let go by the company due to turning down a contract extension in February. He also told WWE he had no intention of signing a new deal.

Since his release, Hathaway has discussed his time in WWE and revealed he was unhappy in the company.
