Brock Lesnar may soon be back on WWE TV.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE have made moves in the past few days to bring Brock Lesnar back.

"In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back. I should add regarding Brock. I'm not saying he's going to be back. I have no idea if he's going to be back. I wouldn't bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way," Alvarez said.

Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming since SummerSlam 2023. Plans were in motion for the former WWE Champion to return but those plans were scrapped after Lesnar was implicated in the sex trafficking lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.

It has been alleged within the lawsuit that Grant was used by Vince McMahon as a sexual pawn during his attempts to bring Lesnar out of retirement in 2021. One of the informal conditions of Lesnar's return was that he could allegedly "f**k" Grant and Grant was later directed to create "personalized sexual content" for Lesnar. This led to her allegedly sending him a video of her urinating in late 2021. Two sexual encounters between Lesnar and Grant were also allegedly arranged but did not take place.

WWE have looked to distance themselves from Lesnar since the filing of the lawsuit. In addition to the scrapping of his return plans, Lesnar was removed as a playable character from WWE 2K24 and his merchandise was withdrawn from sale.

There had been speculation about a Lesnar comeback in recent days following claims that he had been added back to the active roster page on WWE.com. Lesnar was never removed from this page to begin with, however.
