Roman Reigns Ready To Face The Rock At WWE WrestleMania

Roman Reigns is ready for a match with The Rock

There has been much speculation around a rumoured match between current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. In theory, the bout would make the ideal headliner for WrestleMania 39, which takes place in Los Angeles, California.

Appearing on the most recent edition of Logan Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast, The Tribal Chief signalled that "if it works out, I'm ready".

"They keep trying. Everybody keeps trying on this one. I don't book the show, bro. I'm up for anybody," he added.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the belief was Johnson wanted to do the match, but that it was by no means etched in stone. As one of the most in-demand men in the entertainment industry, Johnson's schedule is packed and WWE would have to work around it.

According to reports, the current working plan within WWE is for Reigns to hold the title until the Showcase of the Immortals. Should a match with his cousin be made official, he would go over and lose the title sometime after WrestleMania.

The Rock has previously commented "we'll see" when asked about a match against Reigns.
